This kind of reminds me of the thing they put in at Mount Mitchell where they took down the old weather tower. Okay, but I really wish they hadn't torn it down. It was a way to actually get a view from the top, and now going to the top is almost pointless, those stupid fucks. Purportedly, it had "become unsafe". Feh. When I went there the first time since the change and didn't know, I literally felt sick.
